I am back

Some of you knew me at Viper or Viperstriker from -ages- ago. I've returned with a new vendetta and once my computer wants to work right with freelancer, I'll be hitting the space hard core. The only thing I -am- sad to see gone, is the Clan I once belong to. A great regret from all this, of course. We shall have to remedy this and bring out the old school boys and see if we can get them back in the game.

No, Boom and some other guys were in this original Clan, IUF or something close to that was our Tag, I'd have to get on my old comp which is sitting .. with a burnt motherboard, beside this desk

just an FYI the IFU was disbanded because the leader no longer want the IFU to fly the tag here, for global rankings and among other things.

However all that is left of the once most feared unlawful faction has been turned into a still feared fighting machine known as the TBH, the high council in IFU became the new council in TBH and has created what you now see, old members are still here from time to time, but IFU lives on in TBH. so should you feel the need to start up IFU again, don't(just a suggestion) as they are here flying the TBH tag

Being a part of the old council, I loved our name. I should discretely contact our old leader, and find out about this. I was part of the council though a mere few weeks before some things left my computer/internet into the fritz. The only reason I was able to come back was, gestood's last email about new forums. I ran, I jumped, and arrived!

It is still a sad venture to see the IFU banner not fly anymore, we had such great times gaining nomad ships. The good old days... *sighs*

As for earning it back, once I have my darn computer working right, I won't be needing to earn it, I'll walk over, slap some robots, praise the nomads, get it and then blew a few million of em away. Gotta get that rep back

well it's good to have you back that's for sure, just get your comp up and runnin and we'll do a few test runs to get you back up to par

I've only not played Freelancer for... a year.. ? *cries* maybe more? I'll need more than a FEW test runs.

Hey Viper, I did not say welcome back till now as I mistook you for a more recent player of the same name who is not gone long enough to welcome back...make sense?

As for IFU and 1.85 and all that blah I recall you, but as I was only a humble freelancer who just so happened to fly wing with Realm and Ragnar you may not recall me.

Look forward to seeing you in-game sometime. As an ex IFU you automatically qualify for special exemption from all TBH attack even if you do not join, that is unless you do not wish for it of course.

While bear is looking back on his Imperial Crusher pvp it reminds me of one I had, conversation went like this:

Zach: I want to kill Druid
Druid: I don't advise it.
Zach: And why not
Realm: He has a deal with the Boss
Druid: Yup!
Zach: I will pay the boss back what ever Druid paid

I would guess from memory that the amount was about 100 mill?

As for Exemption from TBH, where would the fun be in that. I am a pirate/unlawful for life. Nothing like selling contraband and running from the law, that's for sure... Now I just need to get one of these 3 computers to work.. 2 half broken and this junk that won't work right
