@Aeglos: You got access to the other forums yet? According to the members group list you are in.

Plus, you say this is your first time on line. You mean first time every or just in Freelancer? Either way don't be afraid or embarrassed to ask anything at all, we are here to help. The characters in the game with >MPA< before their names are like the local tourist office.

I suggest you create a game character called []Aeglos[] if you are totally new, as this will serve as protection from attack from other players. If basically allows you to play on line without engaging other people so you can get to see what it is all about without being wiped out every time you undock.

This is my first time EVER in an on-line game...
well actually the third day of it.

Had a nice spin about last night with some trader mates in my new ship, the SuzyQ.
They introduced me to their monkey universe trade routes.
Well, dangerous routes, I might say, because of NOMADS.
Got shot down 3-4 times... had a great time though, and opened up the uni map.

I found that ppl on this server were very nice & supportive, its a BLAST to be here.

Well if it helps you feel any better, it was FL that brought me to make my first ever on line forum post and MU is the only on line game / server I play. So I know exactly how you feel.

Anyways, I think I have discovered what MU-career I want:
I'd like to be a reporter.

I mean, I'd like to follow ppl around, watching them do their every-day spins, and later post a nice special news update report about the whole adventure...
As I think of this, it might help new players get the drift of what it means (in terms of gameplay and roleplay) to be part of a clan.

How does this sound ?

And if people get annoyexd with you telling everyone what you do then the can kill you

We do have reporter forum chars who use their RP experience from a session to write up a report. They are not always frequent as they are based on whether the players in question get to play and whether or not there was a story in it, plus they need to have the time. There is nothing stopping you post flight logs in the oddly named "flight logs" forum which can be used as your reports on a night's gaming, or post in Benny's Bar if you want to start some RP interaction on an issue.

I behave and never give away special secrets.
Besides, I'd only follow ppl after asking nicely - NICELY beeing the keyword here.
I think they would like it also, It'll be like a bard singing their adventures, only written.
I would love to put such reports also in in-game BB news,
but that needs a MOD update, so for now just forum posts.

However as our current SNR's (Sirius News Reporters ) appear to be AWOL we will discuss within the admin team.
