Well i say new but i used to be on the server ages ago...or used to use the mod i dunno i don't remember. But yeh i've been playing through the single player and now that i've done that i feel i am ready to jump in and try some online play. One problem...can't connect to the global server...perhaps its cos i was trying on version 1.48 of this mod? i dunno though how do i connect directly to this server?

1.48 mod ? Probably a typo there ?

FLSDCT is safe the creator of it says that due to the way it works some anti virus programs think there is a virus but there isnt

actually no...that wasn't a typo that was actually the version i had been playing offline for ages. But yeh....this new version entirely different...its kinda a whole different game. But i am up and running now and i have got on finally thanks to some useful guides on the net about how to get round the problems i was having. Thanks for the help though.

will be on as much as i can...current computer is hunk of junk. So i am having to use my brothers and hes not very helpful in the matter. Currently having to satisfy my lust for space combat by playing Star wars battlefront 2 on my ps2.
