| As part of the birthday celebrations MU is introducing something it thinks is unique to FL mods - your own personal pilot. However as these are coded into the mod we are not giving them away To get one however is relatively straight forward, log 100 base visits and 150 jump holes over at least 50 systems and you can have one. "Rules" They will be added to a ships cargo if the above are met and you provide the wording in compliance with the guidelines at, https://monkeyuniverse.forumotion.com/flight-logs-and-pilot-backgrounds-f26/. Use the announcement in that forum to "claim" pilot. 1 ship = 1 pilot so you can have up to 5 different ones if you have 5 ships all with the above requirements. Final decision on wording of bio's will lie with MPA's. Serious breaches of normal MU rules will result in pilot loss. []- (non-RP) tagged ships can not be used for pilots. Note these are coded into the mod so do not appear instantly, but will appear at next update. (So far longest we have had between updates ~ 2 weeks) Things that may come later associated with this add-in. a) Personal Icons so your pilots has it's own piccy b) Use of NPC scanning to track, hunt various pilots

| Liberty Flame Qualifies
Bio
The Flame of Idealism burns brightest in the young! "Liberty Flame", as he is affectionately known, started his career in The Liberty Navy. After a couple of years hunting pirates he was transferred into the LSF and spent some time chasing Nomads in Alaska and the outer systems.
Always favouring lighter craft, he was recently transferred to the Stellar Cartography Division of the LSF and can now usually be found chasing Nomads in his Patriot 2 in the Battleground, Nomadia, Unknown or Omega systems.

| An interesting idea. I would be eligible for five pilots by now if I didn't keep changing Clans due to unforeseen circumstances . Still, I think that I may have one or two that fulfill the requirements. Now, if I can just get this damn puppy to leave me alone so that I can play FL... | |

| LOL - I thought 100 & 150 - no problem Then I checked - not even close.
My Liner has the most hours - and is the closest - try 54 & 122
I do have a question though. Are there a 100 large planets & stations in MU - or do I need to sell me Liner so I can dock at the dinky ones?

| I am currently flying and docking to see.
Interesting that you can gain the credits and highly needed navigational knowledge to be a Liner captain without much flight time. Hope this doesn't put passengers off.

This char has 233 hours - so it is not exactly short on flight time. It was the first char I created after joining GVT - and the Liner was the first and only ship purchased. Since it is a "Large" ship - it does not dock at small stations. Accidents do happen though - so the number is not "PURE". I do have to admit that I have not made a point of docking at every planet - which is why I asked the question. My spreadsheet (which is out of date) shows only 48 dock-able planets. That does not include large stations like CRC. For Sale - GVT Liner - Reasonable terms!

| Flight time was probably the wrong phrase to use in a literal sense. A dinghy sailor may have loads of sea time or a canal boat lots of water time but I wouldn't give them the helm of a cruise liner or a supertanker.
I make it 89 "pure" points where you can dock.
However, as we all know, and often witness these large ships often dock at "impure" stations.
Check out Spa and Cruise: Titanic a Liner from the word go, they have been busy.
I wonder however, why should the expectation be that you need to achive the 100 whilst in a Liner? Surely a trader would map everything before they started working out the best trade routes.

| OK - have 3 chars ready: [GVT]StarRider has 109 / 150 [GVT]LuckyStar has 112 / 150 [GVT]StarLight has 103 / 154
I am a little confused though. Since we are talking about the Pilot and not the Char - the names should be different - correct? In my case, would this be acceptable?
Char [GVT]StarRider Pilot StarRider has searched for an eternity and really needs to find a CLUE! Please send all Clues to http://WeNeedAClue.com/StarRider NOTE: That is not his bio - just an observation.
Also - can the same Pilot be used on all Chars - and is that advisable?
