In later days I turned on the MoM and their Nomadic ways and waged a war on them. They however had assistance from the SPF . To think i went from a lowly trader to a combatant against the
Nomad offensive.

I remember my first encounter with a Nomad when I first came here about 2 about half a year ago. It was the Nomad under the control of Triplejh.. Long ago and I remember complaining so much when he shot down my Dromedary in Signma13

Ah. another great battle with the MoM against the SPF. Remember it all like yesterday.

Now looking back, I guess iv been all over the spectrum of possible RP choices. I guess coming back couldn't hurt after playing World of Warcraft and Call of Duty 4 (PC) for these past months.

but I will cherish that picture as one of my better Freelancer moments.

Ps. to those who dont know. Those Valkyrie N1'1 used to be a VHF that was extremely agile ( turned very fast and flew fast) and was incredibly easy to destroy (Each hit on it really made a big impact)

It was quite easy to rip them appart, once in a fight against one of the servers old Ace's i accidentally mined myself and took off my 2 wings. my tail and all the weapons around that in 1 accidental blow. Since then I havent used Mines.

Geeky ship info alert:

The Valk N1 was prone to showing damage because of what is known as "Collision Groups" where the tail, wing & hull all recognise impacts instead of just the hull. This is why you could blow parts of it off too. All fighters had these removed in 2.42. It was also a little more agile than others in the class but had an engine with 15 mps more speed at a time that VHF engine upgrades were not available so it's speed was the real bonus. The fastest ship of the time was actually the Conqueror but this was a good bit slower in turn speed and a big ass target.

The Demon and Mystere were also favoured back then showing the Nomad advantage of the time but my personal favourite was the Horus with 2 Screamers or 2 Paralizers combined with 2 Cannonballs. Other players really hated that missile spamming gnat but it was fun to use against Crushers (like IFU Imperial.)

Yeah druid. you and shadow had a real nak for those LF class chips. I loved the Valkyrie n1 because it also had the same loadout as the rest of the VHF but was fast. I'm actually sad that the blowing wings and stuff off was removed.

The wonder down under? Hmmm, there were 3 guys, 2 younger ones and their uncle all part of the one clan from "down under". The older one had "wolf" in his name, I think it was[RS]Wolfguardian? Milocan was one of the younger. Their clan was RogueSquadron or something like that and it was actually that clan which paid for Omicron Rogue and Planet Blood Vain to start with hence the clan and system name match. They were based out of Alpha after MS dropped off and when MS returned they shared the system until Rogue was ready. Before Rogue was even complete though RS had moved on along with [IFU]WarChief and some of his clan. What remained of IFU picked up the remains & formed TBH who moved into the new system.

nope, wasn't the IRS. they were actually the late comers to the monkey universe. he was a former IFU demon wing member, but he was an ausie, and had a short fuse, but was a good guy.

Commando.

I preferred the Horus, Hydra Mk2 and the Amun. I wasn't really a crusher type of guy untill late.
